LHR is an independent human rights organisation with a thirty eight year track record of human rights activism and public interest litigation in South Africa. We offer human rights lawyers an exciting and challenging work environment covering a wide range of social justice issues.

LHR is inviting applications from law graduates with an interest in human rights law and public interest litigation to join our candidate attorney programme, LHR offers candidate attorneys comprehensive in-house training and financial support to complete the School of Legal Practice training. There are openings based in LHR’s Pretoria, Johannesburg and Cape Town law clinics.

Requirements: LLB degree, legal research and writing skills and driver license. Applications from previously disadvantaged persons are encouraged.
